We were very excited to attend Renewable UK’s Global Offshore Wind Conference in London last week. It was great to be out and about, and able to meet people face to face once again – virtual hellos just aren’t the same! The conference was a real hive of representatives from the offshore wind industry, including leading OEMs, subcontractors for all stages of projects, and external advisory and support groups, all showcasing their capabilities and plans for projects across the globe, both in the short and longer term. There was a genuine buzz of excitement about what’s ahead in the industry, and there were some fascinating insights to how the ambitious targets towards net zero will be achieved through the offshore wind projects by those involved in delivering offshore projects here in the UK, and beyond. A very exciting time to be part of this industry, and some fantastic opportunities ahead for CASC!!
