The CASC Switchroom at the Heart of Wind Turbine Assembly

Our engineers have undertaken the construction of Power Containers for use on various projects throughout the world, most recently in Taiwan and The Netherlands. Working closely with our clients in the offshore wind industry and using our in depth knowledge of the requirements of offshore wind turbine assembly we have been able to develop a top of the range piece of kit. With our in house design capabilities, fabrication abilities and electrical team we are able to deliver our power containers with a very quick turnaround and to the highest of standards. The construction of these is a real team effort from all departments within CASC.

The use of a shipping container makes these mobile switch rooms easy to transport around the globe and they are built to last in the harshest environments ensuring they will be helping to build some of the biggest offshore wind projects for many years to come. Internally they are fitted with distribution panels and transformers to give our clients the power and electrical safety requirements they require for work in their demanding environments.
