What We’re Looking For
Are you an organised, proactive administrator who enjoys supporting project teams working away from home?
As a Project Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to our renewables project teams. This is a fast-paced, varied role requiring strong organisation, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Previous experience in a similar administrative or project support role (highly advantageous)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proven time-management skills, including diary management and coordination for others
Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams)
Experience using Xero would be beneficial (full training will be provided)
Procurement experience (sourcing prices, materials and liaising with suppliers) is desirable but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
A flexible, agile approach with the ability to respond to changing priorities
A team player who can also work independently and use initiative to solve problems
Personable manner with strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to support colleagues across the wider business
Job Description
Source and book flights, accommodation and car hire within agreed budgets and project criteria
Manage passport and visa applications, ensuring lead times are met
Assist with site-entry compliance documentation and project paperwork
Compile and track project costings
Take minutes at project meetings and issue actions in a timely manner
Complete weekly timesheets for payroll, liaising with Installation Leads regarding hours worked, downtime and leave
Provide general administrative support to the Renewables team as required
