What We’re Looking For
Proven experience operating laser cutting machinery
Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to programme machines and troubleshoot basic issues
Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform well under pressure
Job Description
Machine operation: Safely and efficiently operate laser cutting machinery
Machine setup: Adjust machine parameters and programmes to meet project requirements and material specifications
Quality control: Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards
Maintenance & troubleshooting: Carry out routine maintenance, assist with basic troubleshooting, and report issues promptly to minimise downtime
Production support: Interpret technical drawings, monitor machine performance, and work closely with the fabrication team to achieve production targets
Safety & housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in line with all company guidelines
